Career Counselor (For Mentoring Program toward Secondary Students)

About Us Juvenis Maxime, established in 2021, is an academy specializing in providing high-quality, practical, creative, and engaging career projects related to the Exploration, Orientation, and Development of an international career path for young individuals aspiring to succeed in their future careers. This program is tailored for middle school, high school, and university students. The program will be launched and supervised by a team of foreign experts with extensive practical experience and a highly successful track record in their respective fields.   As such, we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Career Counselor to work with us part-time and provide guidance and support to secondary students in exploring and planning their career paths. Your expertise and experience will help mentees navigate the complexities of the industry, make informed decisions, and achieve their professional goals.  
 
Responsibilities
  • - Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions with secondary students to assess their interests, skills, and values.
  • - Administer aptitude and career assessment tests to students to help them gain insights into suitable career paths.
  • - Assist students in exploring different career options, including college majors, vocational training, and entry-level job opportunities.
  • - Provide information about various career fields, job duties, educational requirements, and employment outlooks.
  • - Help students develop career goals and create actionable plans to achieve them.
  • - Stay updated on current trends and developments in the job market and educational landscape.
  • - Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress in career development activities.
  • - Participate in career related seminars online as the speaker as a marketing campaign of the company.
 
Requirements
    - Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • - Previous experience in career counseling, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • - Knowledge of career assessment tools and resources.
  • - Empathetic listener with a genuine desire to help others achieve their career aspirations.
  • - Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assist mentees in overcoming career-related challenges.
  • - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in counseling practices.
